Longer days, camping season, beach weather, and summer road trips are on the way, and South Eastern Ontario has partnered with friends at The St. Lawrence Parks Commission to give one lucky winner an unforgettable summer escape along the St. Lawrence River.

Enjoy a unique two-night glamping getaway at Woodlands Campground, on the Long Sault Parkway, a favourite destination for families looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the outdoors.

Accommodating up to 2 adults and 3 children, the Prospector Tent experience combines the fun of camping with added comfort, making it an easy and memorable summer escape. 

Spend your evenings around the campfire, take in sunset views across the channel, enjoy waterfront walks, or spend the day exploring nearby islands, beaches, and scenic parkways.

Step back in time 

Located along the scenic St. Lawrence River, Upper Canada Village invites visitors to step back in time to 1866 and experience daily life in a rural English-Canadian community during a time of growth and change.

Wander the Village streets, explore historic homes, mills, and workshops, watch traditional skills come to life, and connect with the people, places, and pastimes that shaped 19th-century Canada through costumed interpreters and hands-on experiences. 

Your visit also includes complimentary rides aboard the Moccasin Miniature Train, offering scenic views of Crysler Park and the waterfront.

Enjoy sweeping vistas

Spend the day exploring beaches, picnic areas, waterfront lookouts, and one of Eastern Ontario’s most scenic drives.

This contest is operated in partnership with The St. Lawrence Parks Commission, a premier tourism and recreation organization in Eastern Ontario, offering parks, campgrounds, beaches, heritage attractions, and waterfront experiences along the St. Lawrence River. Creating memorable experiences for visitors of all ages. 


The Giveaway closes on Wednesday, June 3, at 1 pm EST. The winner will be contacted by email shortly after. *up to 2 adults/seniors and 3 youth/students. Prospector tents have 2 double beds and a fold-down futon. Campsite is booked for July 17 to 19, 2026. Changes to dates may be requested for the 2026 season, subject to availability and equal value. This contest includes a skill-testing question, and prizes will be awarded only to those answering correctly.  The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada (including Québec) who have reached or surpassed the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the first day of the Contest Period, and who are residing in Canada throughout the Contest Period.
